WELCOME TO OUR PRACTICE.
We are Dr. Nicholas Slater and Dr. Kelly Slater, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to providing clinical excellence with a personal, family-centered touch.

Our journey began at Arizona State University in 2007. Since then, we have pursued extensive doctoral and post-graduate training at prestigious institutions, including the University of Nebraska, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Midwestern University.

After gaining valuable experience in both private and corporate dental settings, we returned to Phoenix in 2016. Today, we are proud to raise our four children here, spending our free time at local farmers' markets, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active with our busy family.

Our Clinical Philosophy
We believe that high-quality dental care should be convenient and transparent. By maintaining advanced training across multiple specialties, we are able to perform the vast majority of procedures in-house. This saves our patients the time and stress of traveling to various specialists.
Dr. Nicholas Slater specializes in surgical dentistry, with a focus on dental implants, overdentures, and complex grafting procedures.
Dr. Kelly Slater is dedicated to restorative health and tooth preservation, specializing in endodontics (root canals), crowns, bridges, and extractions.

My name is Melissa, I am originally from Utah but have lived in Arizona with my husband and son for the last 18 years. I have been in the dental field for 16 + years and enjoy helping out our wonderful patients. My family and I enjoy attending ASU basketball games. GO DEVILS! I love to laugh and share my sarcastic sense of humor ( whether it’s wanted or not) . I am excited to be a part of the Slater Family Dentistry family.

Hi. My name is Peggy. I am one of the dental hygienists in the office. I was a dental assistant for 15 years before becoming a hygienist. What can I say, I LOVE TEETH! I have been in Arizona for 45 years. My husband and I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. We also have 2 dogs. My free time is spent camping, jet skiing, hiking, and scrap booking. I am excited to be working with Dr. Slater and continuing our excellent patient care!

Hi, my name is Kenda. I have lived in Arizona for 18 years. I am a Medical Assistant working in the dental field! I worked in the corporate dental world for 2 years & found it wasn't for me. I enjoy the care and compassion of private family dentistry and love helping our patients! I have 3 children, 7 grandchildren & 2 dogs! In my free time I love to be outdoors gardening, hiking, swimming, camping, and spending time with my family & friends! I also volunteer at the East Mesa Moose Lodge. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my grandchildren! I'm excited to be part of Slater Family Dentistry!

I am an Arizona native and live in Mesa with my wife and two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love taking the boat out for weekend cruises and fishing.

Hi my name is Brianne and I am AZ born and raised! I have had an interest in the dental field ever since I was a kid and enjoy learning something new everyday. In my free time, I like to spend it being active or with my family and friends, but a little relaxation never hurt anyone! I come from a big family, being the oldest of 7, and the love I have for them grows everyday.
