Hello, we are Dr. Nicholas Slater and Dr. Kelly Slater. Dr. Kelly grew up on Long Island, NY and Dr. Nick grew up in Yuma, AZ. We met when we attended Arizona State University in 2007. From there we completed our higher educations at University of Nebraska, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and Midwestern University. We have worked as associates in both private and corporate dental offices. We relocated to Phoenix Arizona in 2016 with our oldest two boys and since then have had another son and a daughter. It’s pretty crazy at our house having 4 kids. We love going to the beach, running around outside, dinosaurs, boating, and supporting small business at the local farmers market.
We are very passionate about what we do. We both have extensive training in several fields of dentistry that allow us to help patients by doing the majority of treatment in office, which avoids patients having to travel to other locations for treatment. We also do pro-bono work for those in need and have a fund set up for people to donate to to help others in need receive free dental care. Dr. Nick’s passion lies in surgical dentistry but is not limited to implants, over dentures, and grafting procedures. Dr. Kelly prefers getting the longest amount of time out of our natural teeth and enjoys root canals, extractions, and crowns,and bridges. One of our practice goals is never wanting anyone to feel like they are being pushed into treatment in our office or that they have to choose the option with the highest price tag. We both have worked for corporate dentistry and have left for those reasons as well as others. We really do pride ourselves in the relationship we have with our patients. We hope you find our dental office to be your new dental home not just because of the good dentistry we provide but also because you feel at ease here.
Steve Berger DMD
Hello, my name is Dr. Steve Berger. I am originally from Washington State, but have been in Arizona for the last six years. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Portland, which is also where I met my wife! I completed a Masters program in Biomedical Science at Midwestern University and then attended their College of Dental Medicine . My wife and I recently welcomed our first son into the world! Along with enjoying new parenthood, I love camping with our golden retriever, skiing, golfing, and fishing. I am very excited to be a part of the Slater Family Dentistry team and

My name is Melissa, I am originally from Utah but have lived in Arizona with my husband and son for the last 18 years. I have been in the dental field for 16 + years and enjoy helping out our wonderful patients. My family and I enjoy attending ASU basketball games. GO DEVILS! Hi. My name is Peggy. I am one of the dental hygienists in the office. I was a dental assistant for 15 years before becoming a hygienist. What can I say, I LOVE TEETH! I have been in Arizona for 45 years. My husband and I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. We also have 2 dogs. My free time is spent camping, jet skiing, hiking, and scrap booking. I am excited to be working with Dr. Slater and continuing our excellent patient care!

Hi, my name is Bill Harding, I am the VP of Human Resources for the office. I have worked in both the private and public sectors, as well as non profit and for profit organizations. Working for a family oriented private practice means the world to me. When I'm not at work, I spend my free time in the garage restoring classic vehicles. I am from Idaho and have two dogs Mozzarella and Gorgonzola and I also have two beautiful goddaughters, Hera and Antonia.
